Lisa Cratty

Lisa Cratty joined Siemens Healthineers in 2020 as the Head of Product Engineering for the Laboratory Diagnostics business. In this role, she has responsibility for the design, development and validation of a variety of lab instruments and analyzers.

 

Most recently, Lisa was the Vice President, R&D and Product Development Strategy at Becton Dickinson & Co (BD), with responsibility for enterprise-wide functional strategy and processes. Lisa’s earlier experience with BD included her role as Director of New Product Development in the Preanalytical Systems business, with responsibility for building R&D functional excellence and partnering with the commercial group to develop and evaluate new business opportunities and products. While at BD, Lisa was the global co-chair of the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) associate resource group and co-founded the BD WIN+STEM group for BD’s technical women.

 

Prior to BD, Lisa was an Engineering Director at Evenflo Company, where she led the design and delivery of a broad range of juvenile products, including car seats, strollers and breast pumps and accessories as Class I/II medical devices. Lisa also has managerial, project management and technical individual contributor experience from Lear Corporation, as well as Ford Motor Company, where she drove development and delivery for the Mustang and the Explorer interior systems, over multiple model years.

 

Lisa has a master’s degree in System Design & Management (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) as well as bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering (Michigan State University) and Economics & Management (Albion College).
